I need my miter saw to build a miter saw stand

It's like needing a panel cutter to make a panel cutter. Very Godel, Escher, and Bach.

Why build a miter saw stand if you don't have a miter saw. it's not like you need a miter saw stand, to build a miter saw stand.

Maybe you should rethink that and get a few more tools first, so you can build a CMS stand?

Actually I don't think I used my CMS to cut anything that went into the rolling table and fence...

I'm always up for figuring out a reason to get a few more tools!

Kind of like needing a good workbench to build a good workbench.

I'm sure I could do a much better (or maybe just easier) job on mine, now that it's finished.

Does your miter saw stop working if it sits on a table?

Well, I figure that a CMS stand should require a table saw, a router, lots of router bits, a new drill driver, air compressor and brad driver (just until the glue sets), a small beer cooler and a couple of shop stools... And it's Christmas wish list time, too!
