Hi all,
I want to build a cupboard which basically will be composed from three vertical plates (about 50 x 200 cm) and six horizontal boards (50 x 50) in between. A further extension shall be possible, as indicated below.

The cupboard shall be demountable for easy transport.
Material will be three-layer fir (20 mm thick).
What's your recommendation? The standard fitting here in Germany for this purpose is an excenter to the edge of the horizontal board on a bolt in the side of the vertical board:
+--+ ------+| | +-------- +----+| | +-----+ -I=====X==X==-+ I__X__I-- | | left center right board excenter in boardSince I'm not that happy with these excenters, I wanted to have a look whether e.g. the US market offers better ideas.
Sorry, if my description is somehow confusing, when I translated incorrectly from German ideas. Tell me, and I'll try to give further explanation or images (of the fittings or the building plan as a children's cupboard, front as lighthouse tower, sides to climb up/down or mount things).
Thanks for sharing your ideas, Martin
