I was able to acquire a Craftsman 113.63494 240v saw. I want to rewire to 120v but I cant seem to find a manual let alone a wiring diagram. Can anyone help me?

anyone help me?

There should be connection diagram under the connections cover plate on the motor...

The manual is available at

The saw is a 240 volt saw - period. It can NOT be rewired ro 120 volts according to the manual. See page 13 of the referenced manual. If it WAS possible to rewire it, you would require a 30 amp circuit.

What leads you to believe that the manual for a 11323301 applies to a

11363494?

Hint--113.some number includes a wide range of saws, from 9 inch to 12 inch, some of which most assuredly are convertible.

Don't do it. The saw draws about 13A @ 240V. So just the FLA would be 26amps @ 120V, plus inrush current at start. You'd need 8-6 ga. wire and the noise on your house wiring would be huge. Instead, wire a 240V circuit the saw, not that hard to do.

Of course that depends on where you are, whether you own or rent, and whether you ever intend to sell.
