ATA Cases

I want to make my own ATA style case. Essentially I want it to be durable, but I want it to be "antiqued." Can anyone suggest places to buy components I can use?

Seek "Session" brand hardware. Here's one vendor I Googled:

It somehow works out to be "Airline Travel Approved" or something like that.

Airlines won't be responsible for delicate items checked as baggage, like guitars or test instruments, unless they're in a proper case. Blow molded and standard fiberboard instrument cases aren't usually acceptable.

Sometimes, a flight crew will let you stick guitars in the passenger deck closets, but you can't count on it.
