I've been 3 different contractors, one says Alside is best, another says Simonton, and another says Sunrise? Who is better?

Get references from their new and especially old clients. If they don't have any old clients, then that Company's out. Although, as far as the window itself goes. Fiberglass is the current Efficiency leader and Aluminum is still the Longevity leader. Aluminum has made very good progress in efficiency, but metal won't ever be best in that.
