wickes mosaic effect tiles

just got 20 boxes of these things home and ive noticed ( i know i should have noticed in the store) that the imitation grout line between the mosaic tile part is actually just unglazed tile . im a bit worried that these grout lines will get dirty over time. is there anything i can do to waterproof these lines or am i worrying over nothing. any relevant advice/ experience would be gratefully received.

No more (or less :-) dirty than grout, which is quite like unglazed tile. There was a recent thread on protecting grout with various stuff - I suggested 'polyvine' so if you google for that you should find the thread.
