I just went to the Wickes website and discovered that due to "significant demand for our products and services" I was a queue with an estimated waiting time of thirty-nine minutes. And a new announcement says that the click and collect service is now only available for "essential products".

Although I bet you find it hard to order anything non-essential. Mars bars, maybe.
toolstation's definition of "essential" seemed to be carriable by a single member of staff, so no anvils maybe ...
On one of my nocturnal walks, I was surprised to find a major Wickes Shed a few miles away flattened to the ground behind hoardings, presumably up until a few weeks ago at least, to build yet more flats.

I waited 48 minutes, filled in what I wanted & whwn it got to the select a branch to collect from bit, there was no option to select the branch.
Oops! Hopefully they will fix that pretty quickly.
I'm one of those with, probably, 6 months worth of DIY supplies for all those projects that I havn't got down to yet.
I couldn't get the "Click and Collect" bit to work either. It was showing "in stock" against the item but "Out of Stock" and "Notify" buttons when I tried to arrange to collect.
I booked a delivery with about two weeks lead time but that was a while back so hopefully stuff will arrive this Friday.
Cheers
