I wish to dispel any suggestion that the BBC is dumbing down.
In a news article today, which suggests that people walked from Wales to Ireland during the last ice age:
"According to rock expert Dr George Nash, from Liverpool University..."
We have rock experts in this country[1]! Eat your hearts out all you foreigners.
Or even Blackpool influenced? (I understand it is in the same vague general direction as Liverpool.)
If they moved the course to Sheffield Hallam University and put it under the directorship of Dr. Jack Black they could even call it the School of Rock.
