Yes they work. I just zapped a but with it. Got it for $4 at Aldi. It was loud when that bug hit that zapper. Get it. It's worth it.
Over the intervening ten years, I doubt he's still interested.
They do have them at Aldi every year though :)

These devices are not of course new. They have been around for many years, and can be interesting on some peoples bare skin as well, if not expected. grin. Brian
