Never mind solving global warming issues! How the F.. do I get the covers off?Yes they are electrically disconnected, yes I have put a variety of screwdrivers in the slot as instructed.All I want to do is replace the batteries.

The moral of the tale would appear to be that Mr Plusnet should install a working CO detector in the kitchen in the interests of safety.
