Been around for a while now...
Some rival systems have also been produced which do not trash the blade when triggered.
Nice idea, but a bit of a shame the owner seems to be trying to finesse the legal system to force manufacturers to license his system.

Bosch have their system out now.
The raison d'etre behind all this, the worker who damaged his hand using a saw in an inappropriate manner, make me wonder about the American legal system.
Any frights I have had from a table saw have been caused by kick back which this system does nothing to prevent.
Bloody Yanks refused for years to use a splitter. Now we're all going to have to pay the price of their stupidity
