Apparently in Australia the A/E have a small one for doing things like that to help get the bits of anything impailed out. I'd have thought it would get the flesh around rather hot, but it sounds cool, um, not. Brian
Sure it's not just a variation on the oscilating multitool type thing?
Something rotational risks the blade binding and ripping the impailed object out...
Youngest son got fish hook impaled in his toe when he was very young. Doctor simply pushed the barb through and out and then snipped it off with pliers
