The wooden facias on my flat roof garage are rotten on the lower edge and need replaced. A quick look at the end of the roof showed that I have about 1-2 inches of flet overlap with the top of the facia. Can the facias be replaced without disturbing the felt or can the felt be heated some way to make it more flexible.
