Recommendations for a smart thermostat Featured

When I say smart I mean some connection for remote access.

This will also need to be battery supplied so presume ZigBee or similar wireless protocol. Open Source would be a neat feature.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Can only recommend the only one I have any experience with namely Hive, Works for me.

Thanks for the recommendations. While the price-tag is a lot higher than I hoped it's good to see what others use and happy with.

I use Hive and it does what it says on the tin. I haven't looked around to see if there's anything better, but I don't really need "anything better" just now and "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and I have other more interesting/pressing things to look into that would be more benefit etc.

Last time they wanted to replace the Hub, they (of course) wanted to move me onto a monthly subscription, but I managed to find an annual one-off fee.
