Well they do the opposite ie make "Karcher" for only one store. Have alook at the Karcher models in B&Q you won't find them anywhere else or on the Karcher website...

Blimy that's a bit keen. Ours get washed once a year when the salt season has finished in early May. Mine also get an int/ext clean when it goes in for a service about every 8 months, the dealer does as routine. The lights and number plates get a wipe over if they start to get obscured but generally speaking the rain and spray keeps them clean enough most of the year.

Can't see the point it in the religious car washing on a Sunday, drive to town and back (5 miles) and it'll be mucky again...

Hum, so what about driving at 60mph in rain?

They are past masters at that. The "you can't buy cheaper" claim from the retailer simply means Karcher make the K220 for one shed, the K221 for another, the K222 for a third. Same stuff inside, sometimes the cover moulding is different, sometimes just the number but the extras differ.

Think about it though. With pressure washers, the name Karcher is stronger than B&Q, Argos etc.

That's the same with a lot of consumer-grade washing machines, fridge-freezers and so on, and clearly for the same reason.

So it's obvious to an observant visitor to your home where you do your shopping!

Until you notice the "this store only model numbering". Then they just become another mass producer like any other but with a whiff of sneakyness that devalues them below that of other mass producers IMHO.

Lidl have one in next week, a Lavor. Looks quite good. Its a toss up for me on either the Nilfisk at MM (Although i dont know if they have induction motors) or this one at Lidl. I would like the Kranzle but dont know if its worth the extra £400 but could be persuaded otherwise.
