After DIYing a new computer build this morning* Windows moaned about activation so I followed their drill (now a web page) and entered 10 million numbers in boxes, confirmed it was only on one PC, then copied a different 10 million numbers back to the PC which happily activated.
During the process the phone turned off several times, a problem I always seem to have when using it for verification, and I was trying to keep it alive while entering all the numbers.
What sort of time delay do people use on their mobiles? Does it make a big difference to battery life?
- booted first time to -.. beep, memory problem, re-seat it. It was properly seated but still in the old PC, I forgot to move it over!
