Harry,Are your smart plugs etc Tuya? If so, have you noticed they are slower to respond please- especially ifyou use voice commands via Alexa?I’ve noticed ones we use regularly and are normally ‘instant’ are verymuch slower. The Alexa OK and the light going off coincide but the delay before thathappens is taking several seconds. No issues with internet otherwise, speed seems normal ( 40 / 45 M)?A few days back, Alexa asked if I was having issues - I can’t recall theexact wording- after I gave an instruction to turn on a light. I’ve checked for channel occupancy, signal strength of other networks, …. The places where I would expect a problem are fine. The dead spots aren’t close to neighbours etc.

multipath cancellation. A large sheet of tinfoil should move the dead spots around, at least

I respectfully suggest that without a WAN connection they are now switches and/or access points rather than routers. Probably rather slow ones.

Depends. Most routers will do at least 100Mbps since a decade ago
