This morning I decided to power up old IE11, and was amazed to see that I was offered the new Chrome based Edge browser beta. It seems to work on Windows 7. The thing that puzzled me was, if they are pensioning off windows 7, why go to the trouble of making an Edge version for it? Brian
Because for those customers willing to pay, microsoft will be supporting Windows 7 for another three years, therefore they might as well have a common version of ChromiumEdge on Windows 7, 8 nd 10.
