OT: What's the point of voting signs on the side of the road with no policies on them?

I found safety adverts amusing as a kid. Safety is for wimps, and the ads are clearly exaggerated.

And it's better now? I can travel anywhere in the UK for half the price in my own car than I can by train. It doesn't matter if it's privatised or publically funded, trains are a stupid idea. They are big and heavy and consume way more fuel per person than a car.

Or looking at adverts. Why do you think people install adblockers?

Why if no one takes any notice why bother blocking something you don't see. ?

It fills the screen with garbage that gets in the way of what I'm trying to read. On my phone, I can end up with full page ads, completely obstructing the f****ng program I'm using! And nobody seems to know how to remove ads from Android phones.

And why do you think it does that, why not cover the dark side of the moon with a similar ad ?

So yuo see the ads then and rememebr them obsuring yuor view, well their you go.

You get what you pay for andriod IS ad driven that's what makes it cheap f****it.

But with most such ads you can pay a small fee and the ads go.
