Because if he takes covid there, it is even worse than a cruise ship given that on a cruise ship they don't all share the same showers etc.

I have often thought that a van driving around the area, confiscating unlit bikes and when full, taking them to the pound and charging a fee for release would be a very good thing and cyclist would soon get the idea.

They could do the same for cycling on the pavement, disobeying road signs and traffic lights, going the wrong way in one-way streets, etc.

Yes, but cycling without lights is the most obvious and likely to be seen by the police.

As for cycling on the pavement, I don't actually object to that, as long as they are travelling at a sensible speed and making proper allowances for pedestrians.

I merely get annoyed by cyclists breaking the law. And cycling at night with dark clothing and no lights. But get more upset when they always blame a car etc driver for any accident.

Round here, the only place you're allowed to let a dog off the leash is on the common. Where cycling is banned - apart from on designated routes. Doesn't stop them cursing at dogs anywhere on the common.
