A small village (Minishant) on the A77 has had an outbreak of cameras on just about every lamp post through the village.
Given that there’s one road in and one road out these seem way in excess of anything needed for traffic speed or density monitoring. There are already average speed cameras on either side of the village so it seems unlikely that they’re needed for ANPR purposes.

Indeed they do. I imagine that they’re only temporary but there are an extraordinary number of them. Two on most lamp posts and it’s hard to imagine what they’re trying to monitor.

There has been an outbreak of this in Worthing. I noticed a car 'wrapped' in a blue tarp the last time I went there.
We had them round here recently. Traffic survey (to see what proportion of vehicle type is using the routes, lorries, buses, cars etc)
Temporary motion-detector cameras. I don't think they are speed sensitive. Probably checking numbers in each direction. I don't think they are connected to anything and contain a recording chip which has to me manually removed. I think they do the same job as those rubber tubes they put across the whole width. Why they are there I hesitate to guess.

Just an idea. There are urban areas of Sussex where foxes have taken to the chewing environmentally friendly exposed wiring insulation under cars, apparently theinsulation it contains soya or peanut product, irresistable to rodents etc. Knowing more about them might mean they could be trapped/shot etc.
Just decline to sign in and you’ll see the picture.

A traffic survey seems likely(ish) but there are getting on for 50 cameras on a straight ½ mile section of road. Seems like massive overkill for that purpose.

What browser? I have no problem accessing the website with Pale Moon or Firefox. Do you have some sort of script blocker running? Try disabling all add-ons and see if that helps.

Seem to be a proper install, with mains from the streetlight rather than the usual solar bodge they use.
Again there are hundreds of them.
(I'm guessing it has something to do with extracting money from motorists, or justifying more restrictions. It usually does!)
That's interesting - I use Brave which won't let me duck the sign in page but I tried Edge and it does!

Strange. I copied the link into Vivaldi in Linux Mint and it went there without problem. I also copied it into Brave on my android phone and it also went there without problem.

Why not try asking locally? Try the Community Council (similar to an English Parish Council, but without fundraising powers).
Or taking a photo where the label is readable might give clues?
Google must think you are dodgy.
