Given that it uses Google streetview, can't see it's much different. If you don't like the new Google interface (it is too slow for a lot of machines and slow connections) use the old version

My street doesn't exist according to that site, so that's not a good start.
I wonder how many more streets it can't find.

I live in a mill and even putting in the full address, it shows the mill in the next town 2 miles away, proudly displaying the wrong postcode.

Useless!
I typed in Moor Road Leyburn and it went to Moor road Askrigg!

It's all very strange. It puts my house in the wrong road. I tried Google earth, plus the old version referred to in this thread, and they both go to the same wrong address.
I've navigated to my house in Google Earth in the past and it has always worked.

This does a pretty good job in my case; quickly presents a view about 20 yards up the road, but looking at the correct side of the road (which is impressive since the house numbering is all over the place).

Didn't Google dish up the house names and numbers from streetview as CAPTCHA images to improve the positioning accuracy?

Neither my old address or current one. I'm sure it couldn't find any of my other old addresses either, if I asked it.

Use the post code I did and had no problem.

He probably wants to find his house rather than yours. :-)

That works, ta. No mention of postcode on the page.
