Mostly likely small leak in dishwasher?

Question

We have a Beko dishwasher which is quite a few years old now, it washes very well still.

However it has developed a small leak (like an occasional drip I guess, at the moment) that drips into the 'anti-flood' tray at the bottom and, after a few weeks, triggers an error that displays E01. If I then pull the dishwasher out, suck out the water with the wet and dry vacuum and put it back it runs without problems for a few more weeks.

I suspect the leak is probably going to get worse and it's moderately annoying already. I have the side covers off at the moment but can't see any obvious leaky hoses or loose connectors.

What's the most likely place to have developed a leak like this, does anyone know?

Dishwashers have a lot of solid plastic pieces that perish with the heat and chemicals. They go brittle and often screw threads become no longer watertight. I've had this with spray arms and with the pipework that takes the water to the top of the machine.

Not sure what the best solution is, but perhaps silicone on the threads?

Our Beko was leaking water all over the floor. Turned out to be a dodgy spray arm. I thought dishwashers would be watertight but apparently all they need to do is to stop the spray that they are designed for getting out.

Too much water directed at the door and leakage.

I’d look at hose joints first - where flexible meets rigid. Door seals are another common failure area but I’d expect those to drip infront rather than under, unless the machine is tilted.

I'd also look at the hoses themselves - especially the drain hose. I had one (corrugated plastic rather than rubber) where the pulsing of the pump caused fatigue failures at the bottom of the corrugations.
