Sadly untrue
Sadly untrue
When in a hole, stop digging.
I dont know if you are dumb and too proud to admit it, or a troll.
Either way I am not sure I care.
I have spent a lot of time analysing this, because it interests me. Not theorising, analysing and ruling out based on factual evidence that you are too lazy to gather for yourself and too egotistical to accept even if you did.
Bringing in 'manners' is just another desperate attempt to shut down the message by attacking the messenger. A thoroughly loathsome approach
I know you have bought in to some other theory based on nothing at all.
If you aren't interested in the facts just STFU and leave the conversation.
I have presented them and links to the sources for the benefit of people who don't have the time that I do to trawl the internet looking for accurate sources. And who may have absorbed ideas from inaccurate sources
If you don't want to hear the facts just shut up.
And stop being such an asshole
FWIW the whole world's press are now saying 'the captain did it'
I know you think that the more people that believe it the more it must be true, so enjoy that.
People want a simple world where everything has a simple answer.
"There! I've invented a simple answer. Job done!"
And that, in a nutshell, is the Labour Party. People not getting paid enough? RAISE MINIMUM WAGE! Thick people without degrees not getting paid enough? GIVE THEM A POINTLESS DEGREE! No one over the age of 20 votes Labour LOWER THE VOTING AGE TO 10!
Apparently not, very sad.
Bullshit with those who understand the basics, unlike you
Just because you mindless repeat something...
Wrong when you dont have a clue about the basics or even manage to grasp that the final report may well not be able to say definitively who moved the switches, even if they are certain to be able to identify who said what in the CVR audio
What matters MUCH more is being able to work out who turned those switches off so we can do better at stopping that happening again
Nothing to do with manners
Can I suggest that rather than multiple posters theorising on the cause(s) of the crash that you either wait for the final report or, in the meantime, you have a look at Mentour Pilot on YouTube with his informed and very measured insights and commentary?
Frank
You can suggest anything you like and we are free to ignore your suggestion and rub your nose in the fact that Petter didnt do that and has no more access to the info that matters than anyone else
I suspect that the latter may backfire on them, in more than one way but mainly the younger voter will not vote in the way they want.
Unlikely that many will vote for other than Labour.
More likely that few will bother to vote at all, particularly as ID will be required
So, second-hand speculation is acceptable?
I have asked that many times but the children won't take any notice.
No, he doesn't speculate and any observation he makes is well informed from experience as a pilot.
Frank
Oh, I leave for other things for a while and return to find you're still here. Time to filter out you and your nonsense again.
Frank
That's exactly what I did.
I tend to agree. The 'committed Lefties' these days are mainly university dross, and other people who haven't grown up and still work in the public sector
Political teenagers are these days more likely to be Reform - its the new 'radical' f*ck you grandad choice.
In fact Petter has been extremely careful to limit the sepculatin and merely interpret the facts using his better information base.
He doesn't waste time speculating about how the switches accidentally got flipped. Or saying 'we wont know till yhe final report - he knows too well that the conclusion of many final reports is 'we don't know' .He states that for the reasons stated, its almost impossible to do it accidentally. And stops there. Likewise he points out that the interim report is there largely to act as a vehicle for instigating any aircraft groundings, emergency remedial actions or airline shortcomings. The FACT that none of the above were issues suggests overwhelmingly - to someone who understands the purpose of accident investigations, that nothing was found wrong with the aircraft or the airline or its maintenance standards. He never draws positive conclusions though, he leaves that to your own intelligence - assuming you have any.
Now the media dam has broken everyone feels safe in saying what everyone has been thinking, and the captain is taking the blame.
News that reports what *someone else has said* is not legally actionable.
He just lays out the facts and adds in all the other relevant facts and leaves you to draw the only possible conclusion without explicitly stating it.
A digression-but-not-digression is to note that despite the enormous sums spent on the Apollo programme, Buzz Aldrin was still able to break a switch as he re-entered the lunar lander.
