This is a 2 bay external DAS enclosure USB3 or ESATA.
Arrived today and I have fitted the two drives (backing up to one now at ESATA speed) BUT there are no guide rails included so the drives can move from side to side.
I have put questions in to SCAN and Icy Box but wondered if anybody here had ever come across this device?
I used a 3-HDD to 5.25" bay converter from Icy Box and was not impressed by the build quality (the HDDs were crammed together so they cooked, there was a tiny fan whose wiring broke off).

It does seem odd the drives can move from side to side, makes me wonder if the handle thingy is supposed to serve some function apart from not working as a handle!
So it seems they rely on the door to hold the drives in, not very impressed I must say.
