I would have to spend over £3 in petrol to get to an ASDA and back, jim but I can walk to Sainsburys and buy their tinned soup for 50p.

I remember doing an online order from Asda. Eventually, the driver turned up and handed me a single item, a pack of razor blades (not the ones I had ordered). The rest of the order was out of stock. Not a great success. :)

I have never bought the Cream of Tomato soup from Heinz for some years as they made it far too sickly for me, and the vege stuff is seemingly too spicy. Their chicken soup is ok though. Brian

Every day is a good day for chicken, unless you're a chicken.

I notice that the title of this thread is 'heads up soup'. That's probably about right if you are talking about tinned chicken soup.

You could probably make your own with fresh veggies for less than 24p, and no can to recycle.
