I've never sold anything on eBay but I'd like to know if there are tools that the seller can use to modify the categories of feedback one may choose to receive.
I bought a second-hand item from eBay. When I received it I was disappointed because although none of the seller's description was untrue, none of the pictures were fake, had I know the true situation I would never have bought it in the first place. That's life, caveat emptor etc etc.
When filling in the feedback response, I selected neutral instead of positive or negative for my overall impression. But as I worked my way down the categories, the usual final questions didn't appear. No opportunity to give 1-5 stars for delivery time, accuracy of description (the one I was interested in, of course) seller communication etc, etc. Sometimes Seller Communication goes missing if there were no communication, delivery time doesn't show up if the system already knows it was delivered but Accuracy of Description has gone? Come on now, give me a break!
Any thoughts?
I'm not going to make a fuss about this because after all, nothing the seller said was actually untrue but I'd like to know why my opportunity to comment disappeared.
