I'm looking to get some drawer runners for a cabinet I'm building. In the sheds the kitchen drawer runners you see all seem to have a lot of play in them. The drawers waggle from side to side. The runners are stiff enough to take the vertical forces they encounter but don't have much stiffness to take horizontal forces.
Can anyone recommend a brand that is more solid? Not much vertical load anticipated - 10 to 20Kg maybe. I suppose I could get some heavy duty runners rated at 100Kg or something but they are going to be big and expensive. I'm hoping to find something more moderately priced but still well made.
