Double Under counter oven

Hi, I recently got a Powerpoint double under counter oven installed. When I have both ovens on at full temperature for 20 minutes the bottom one cuts off. The outside of the oven, handles and glass doors also get extremely hot. An 'engineer' came to look at it and said that we wouldn't be using both ovens at full temperature and the product is ok, as both ovens function separately at full temperature and together at lower heats. Any body else had similar experiences? Do you think that this is acceptable? Thanks Dave

Not sure this is normal for a double oven.

I've got a Stoves 720ema double under electric. With both ovens at full pelt the steel front is warm but not hot.

Is your oven fully ventilated. When I installed mine I had to ensure there was enough space for the big fan on the back to circulate air though the oven and back out somewhere. In fact I'm fairly sure it did specifically mention that this was partly to keep the front cool.
