I once had a small plastic sheet that could be cut to make a shim for a screw going into a large hole.
The sheet I saw had ridges and could be cut with scissors.
Is this still available?

The ridges were on the outside and there were no open cells within the sheet
It wasn't as thick as either of your examples. The thickness was about 1mm or 2mm.
