Circular saw blade type identification

Apr 10, 2016 7 Replies

Please, how can you tell whether a circular saw blade is TCT tipped?

TIA for any help

Jim

Usually pretty obvious. The tips will be wider than the body and added to it.

The tips are brazed on and are quite obvious.

Use the 'roll mouse over to expand' feature

Just to be difficult (or may be pedantic)

Blocks of TC are brazed to each blade tip.

Not likely that somone would own one of these - they would break it!

They are used extensively for special purposes but I would agree, not for the average bear.
