I started off on the newsgroups back in early 2000's and I learned of Bill Wright back then.

Hell, I even started subscribing to WotSat magazine once I realised he wrote articles for them.

What I know now of TV & Radio reception I learned over the years simply by reading Bill's newsgroup posts....

He is a character but he is a character that is actually worth knowing.... :-)

I did a job at the International Truck plant in Ontario, Canada, some years ago. They had a maintenance guy there, Bill Wright, the Millwright. No relation, I wouldn't think.

Well according to Dennis every property has ducts running up to its front door.

A future 'tradesman' might see that pipe and think, Hmm, that's a nice bit of lead scrap which is not being used, and chop out as much as he can :-(

I doubt it. Apart from the ends in the mains room and the roof access tunnel you cannot reach it withhold scaffolding.

There's something on the roof at the front side next to the Yorkshire Bank.

Is there still a fire escape at the back from the snooker club days?

That fire escape brings you out through the black door to the right of the opticians

Lots of people complain these days that they have to travel miles to find a bank.

I think I know where the the banks have all gone now!

There are more traffic wardens than banks:-)

The van gets a ticket (or more than one a day) most days when parked there.

The estate agent doesn't mention there's no working telly point

I can assure you that photos 5 and 6 are in flat 6, we only fitted the heaters last week.

The flats are all the top floor above Nationwide.

It's a s*it hole but we took it on from a bankrupt company.
