one mans crap
you think ? ...
The most difficult cases to treat are those who believe they are not ill, its everyone *else*.
Oh, quite so, T i m was the only one in step, as far as he was concerned, even when presented with evidence such as one European country forbidding children to be brought up on a vegan diet as it stunts their physical and mental development.
Hollow nonentities looking for a Cause to give shape and meaning to their otherwise empty miserable lives.
He reappeared (some time last year IIRC) on uk.comp.sys.mac for iPad/iphone help and was behaving generally reasonably for a good while. This contrasted with a visit he made there the year before or so, where he soon tried trolling and got spanked for his pains.
Last year there was a small amount of argy-bargy then he stopped appearing (again, IIRC).
Does it work for you?
Its spastic gait, and that matters in this case.
Didnt have a clue what you meant until I tried googling it.
You have always had that problem.
You are way past your useby date.
Time to pull the plug on your pathetic excuse for an existence.
That's what I want to know. It's hardly a magic pill otherwise.
I haven't noted any marked change in your rantings. :)
good
this is the first day I have felt back to normal.....
thanks for the encouragement Ron ...
Are you intimating that Jim has been low on B12 for a very long time? :-)
Think I have
Blood test. Tick the B12 box.
It does not get much simpler than that.
Are you afraid of blood tests or something ?
Paul
I'm afraid of telling my doctor that he is incompetant and even though I gave him my symptoms I fixed the problem myself...anyway there are three types of blood tests and I would have had to ask for the active one,,,to get the proper answer not sure how he would take to being told his job.....
Our system here, is at least partially self-directed.
The doctor did not follow up on the B12, I did.
I told the doctor I'd been taking the supplementary B12 pills for three months, and now I wanted to know if it was working. The doctor would know that I'd been using the injections, and that one of the doctors had stopped that.
Because, if the conversion process in your body isn't working, then the pills would be a waste of money. The blood test for B12, proves the pills are working as expected.
That's why I had the doctor check. And he had no problem filling a blood test and ticking B12 box. he just fills the test on his tablet computer, and prints one off, so minimal amount of writing for doctor. Any time you order a labs, the "Reason For Test" box has to be filled out by doctor, and that's "the hardest work".
At one point, I also had D3 checked, but that one costs money, and I paid for that, right at the blood lab itself.
The doctors won't listen to outright quackery, but when you give them a "logical progression", they can follow the logic and will feed back if they think you're full of s*it or not.
I would never whine at doctors, "that the other doctor was incompetent". That's not going to work. Working the levers on your doctor, is like the herding of sheep.
This is what the rear end of a doctor looks like, when you call them incompetent :-) That's a porcupine by the way.
When you self-medicate, you should either consult a pharmaceutical index, or look on the web, for "contraindications". For example, there was a piece in the paper, about a patient who abused a fat-soluble vitamin. If you take too much of the fat-soluble ones, you can in effect poison yourself. B12 is water-soluble.
low amount of potassium in the blood Leber's hereditary optic atrophy inflammation of the stomach called atrophic gastritis "
Another page gives a bit more detail.
That means a brain fog should not strongly react to it.
"However, B12 supplements will most likely increase energy levels in those who are deficient"
In my involvement with B12, I have never had any physiological reaction to B12 at all. The shots ? Might as well have been tap water. I didn't feel "warm and fuzzy" after a shot or anything. Neither do the pills do anything of the sort. So maybe even though I was below-band on B12, as far as my body was concerned, I wasn't deficient. Because there was no "big reaction" one way or another.
Getting my blood pressure under control, is about the only thing that seems to have benefited me.
Paul
oh well whatever works for you
