anybody sell used electrical parts online?

I am seeking an MEM fuse cartridge (100 A with BS88 fusible link).

A crazy vagrant went down my street pulling out boundary fuses. There was a lock on my box, but some previous owner had cut it open, then bent it back so it looked locked. Until a deranged beggar just decided to yank it hard... My abode had MEM brand fuse, and nobody sells these anymore where I live, not even Eaton (who took over MEM). The two brands I can get are bigger and don't fit. As MEM were English, there must be lots of their products sitting in salvage yards in the UK. Are there any electrical junk dealers online?

I have seen The Fuse Company, but the MEM fuses they list are different part numbers to mine, which must be at least 22 years old.

If they took the fuse, I would expect they took the fuse carrier with it.

Are you talking about the company's main cutout fuse?

Why don't you just contact your local electricity company and let them replace it?

I did call the electricity supplier 15 minutes after I found the fuse was missing. A service truck came out and said it is your problem: they are only responsible as far as the cable coming from the power grid to this fuse box. So I need an electrician who does power connections to replace the fuse socket with another that is available today, which needs the power company to cut off power at the pole, so it would be rather expensive all up.

And in reply to another post, they took the fuse holder. It would have been rather risky to dig out just the fusible link, which is live.

So you're clearly not anywhere in the UK then...
