While I have dash cams on the duster and the wagon r I haven't fitted one to the mustang yet....but after today I will just have to get around to it....driving through a four way dual carriage way traffic light junction in the nearside lane....wummin in an audi TT in the outside lane of oncoming traffic takes a chance and turns right in front of me.....and she would have got away with it was it not for the fact that she turned into the oncoming traffic lane stopped at the lights.....she immediately straightened up... however ... she was now coming straight for me....just managed to brake in time with a few well chosen words....what did the old podgy bird do?...smile and laugh as if the incident was for her entertainment......wummin and audi drivers...what a combination.....wish I had it on dash cam.....

NOBODY ever tell me wummin are good drivers........PLEASE

Some of them can spell though, quite well. grin. To be honest, if you really want the people with death wishes, watch out for anyone on a bike. I strongly believe that if nobody had invented bicycles with only two wheels until today, they would have been rejected as a health and safety risk. Both powered or not. Tricycles might be better but bikes are unstable at low speeds, offer scant protection in an accident and seem to be ridden by people who think they are indestructible. Bah humbug. Brian

those electric trikes don't seem to be banned because they are "unsafe" for the user

though limits on their use are imposed because they are unsafe for others

Some are good at driving us up the wall.

Pat Moss-Carlsson was *quite* good.

Michèle Mouton is the only woman WRC winner with 4 wins out of 50 rallies.

And she's French.

Owain

Trikes are more dangerous than bikes because you can't lean into the curve very well so the fall over more easily.

Like power scooters they are not allowed on public roads in the UK.

It's the hairy armpits. Yep one hot chick was Michelle.

Do amateur radio 'hams' use dot cameras on their windscreens ?.

LOL! Brilliant!

She was the radio telegraphist's daughter and she ony did it because her Dada did it.

(Radio ham for 49 years)

105E Anglia. Haven't seen one in ages

True. But simply not enforced, like so much else. They are numerous round London, as are electric bikes. Which are faster than a true moped.

There was one of those repair progrmmes on TV and they had a raleigh bike from the 40s, and a petrol engine that was designed in the 50s to attach to it.

Then again raleigh make electric bikes today so they must be legal on the roads.

I don;t think electric scooters are the same as electric bikes or mopeds or segways. If I had an electric bike I'd check to see if it;s allowed on the cycle lanes too. Same with tricycles powered or otherwise.

Well they are illegal too, but as you say few are done for it.

Some are, but not those that you don't have to pedal or can exceed

25km/hr using the motor.

Electric bikes that meet the law are bikes.

Mopeds can go up to 30mph and don't have to have pedals anymore.

Powered scooters are not allowed on public roads at all.

I well remember those as a kid. Two types. The most common was a replacement rear wheel, with the 2 stroke motor in the middle of it. Think it was called Cyclemaster. Other was a friction drive add on which drove via the front tyre. Very popular with the working man who cycled to work.

They are legal if registered. So have number plates. And pay VED (if needed) insurance and MOT, etc. And require a driving licence of some sort, which would only be available above a certain age.

If it is a lane for a two wheeled vehicle, some motorbikes will use it. If it suits them to.
