Another thing about electric cars

not only do they turn everything off when they do the official test

but they might even remove the rear seats and certainly the spare wheel (if there is one)

and there's no wind resistance on the test as it's all done on a rolling road

You can switch them off when you are warm enough, ISTR my Volvo ones would switch off automatically.

But you know the fuel is there if you need it, minimal wait if any to get on a fuelling point and it will take less than 5 minutes to inject enough energy for another 700 miles or even more in a van/motorhome.
