2 BATH TAP HOLES....

probably lots of people would like a single hole mixer but don't fancy their chances of invisibly filling the spare hole. SO! Why don't manufacturers offer a mixer tap and/or shower rail combo that could use the spare hole as the first fixing point and provide a riser rail that could bend or curve to one side of the bath. This could/would provide a more interesting and/or aesthetic feature to a bath/shower?

Perhaps they already do but if they don't, why is it always left to me to think of these things?

But there is no *spare* hole to fill, because if you're going to try fitting a single-hole mixer to a bath already provided with two holes, you're going to want to position the aforementioned mixer in a new hole, midway between the existing two, innit?

Maybe many people have thought about it, then immediately realised it is actually a shit idea and discarded it immediately rather than posting it to a newsgroup.

That's a much better idea.

Cold bucket of water for you then?

I hit a copper that was standing outside. So you're wrong.
