The siphon jet on my toilet is blocked by a small plastic disc that came off my flapper. The disc is used to hold a float in place on the chain. I can feel it with my finger but I cannot get it through the siphon jet hole because it is a little larger than the hole. I tried sucking it back up with a wet vac but that did not work. How can I clear this obstruction because I can't really grab it.

Drain the toilet and then cut through the disc with a highly heated knife. The flapper's fine without it or you can buy a replacement flapper with no evil disc.
