retrieving screwdriver from laundry drain pipe

Tape Pliers to a broom stick, just 1 handle. Then, tape or tie a string to the other Pliers handle and pull the string when the Pliers grasp the handle or screwdriver's shaft...you can also just use with string on both handles. The Pliers will naturally fall open as you lower them.
