Wire Labels That Can Take the Heat?

Anybody know if there are any write-on, or print-on labels for wiring that can take the temperature extremes of an attic, or an exterior load center, in a hot, desert area?

Those embossed plastic strips that used to be used all the time seem pretty heat durable if something like that will work. Think they were called something like DynaLabels.

There are a lot of manufacturers of industrial labels and label makers which can be found at any supply house serving the trades.

Label maker is the generic term.

What about paper tags with wires that wrap around something, That's what people used to use and they'll last even longer than the cardboard boxes in my attic for the last 30 years.

Or just write on the box.

Buy some letter punches and make some metal labels.

Dymo has manufactured metal tape for their embossing label makers for many years. ^_^

I have seem written markers just fade away. Don't know if it heat or uv.

I think I have one of the original dymo metal units. Very nice, but never used it.

I know there is aluminum tape for them and I think I saw a stainless steel tape for them too able to survive harsh environments. ^_^
