Aside from that, even if it's true, donating to a candidate and being a buddy are two very different things. We all know that both Democrats and Republicans take donations from pretty much anyone that will give it them. Scott wants to pretend he just fell off the turnip truck.

What factors were those? Are you suggesting government agencies didn't perform due diligence before awarding the contract to Fisher? Now if you want to talk about the no-bid contract the Army Corps gave to Barnard that's another story although it was ultimately rescinded.

Not me. I'm a USA voter and I've been voting for who I *dislike* the least. Ed must like voting for his least favorite candidate.

With all the millions of people in the US it makse me sick that we can not do better to pick out about 500 to run the country any better than what we have in the last 20 or so years.

It has came down to the 'who do I dislike the most' instead of who is the best to run the country.

Republicans acting like 3 year olds taking weeks just to elect a speaker of the house. I would like to vote all of them out just for that alone. And I am mostly a Republican voter.

I can't think of a presidential candidate that I've voted for in the last four decades that I didn't think was the best candidate for the job. Jimmy (far better man than Ronnie Raygun), Bill (balanced the budget!), Barry (intelligent, excellent president) and Joe. Al would have handled 9/11 far better than GWB, and Hillary suffered from a quarter century of demonization by the republicans, but would have been far, far, far better than the dicktator trump.

Strangely, those people don't seem to be interested in politics.

Not me. I vote for candidates who I dislike the *least*. Sadly, it's been decades since I cast a vote for someone who I liked the most.
