Never owned but have used a Toshiba. They were the first to make them on the 1960s. Not much different than any in that price range. Half the microwaves are made by one company today.
Uh oh! That explains a lot.
Do you know who the other producers are? Any from Japan, Germany, or USA?
I did see a list of four a long time back but don't recall who they were. Korea was one of them, may have been LG. You can be pretty sure none are in the US these days.
