You just continue to ignore the fact that the insurrection was an attempt at a coup, an attempt to deny Americans their vote in the election. It was a direct attempt at a subversion of our democracy, instigated by Trump. That pales in comparison to any looting of a liquor store, which got little notice outside the US. The attack on our democracy was covered, extensively and used by our enemies. Congratulations Trump.

This guy would disagree with you;

"We weren't there to steal things," Kiczenski, who entered the Capitol on January 6, said, according to the book excerpt. "We weren't there to do damage. We were just there to overthrow the government."

How about burning doi9wn police stations? Isn't that an assault on the government? I also do not think they were "overthrowing the government". They just tried to influence one process. If the CapPo were not so feckless this legal protest would have ended at the capitol steps. The cops letting people in is what got the mob mentality going. Why didn't they just shoot the first woman who got to the top of the steps? That would have had them scurrying to their RVs and heading back down I-95. That seemed to be justifiable use of force to you folks.

You can find a stupid person who will say damned near anything.

That's not how you do it, Saundra baby.

The glass on my irony meter just spontaneously shattered so I think I found one of the people you're talking about.

...and yet I own your ass.

Really? What do you call it when a bunch of people try to stop the duly elected POTUS from taking office in the hopes of installing their own candidate?

Cindy Hamilton

A ship of fools? I don't see them any better or worse than previous demonstrators.

That's not what-about-ism, that's a critique of hyperventilating morons clutching their pearls.

When Trump was elected the first time there were cries from your people that it was not legitimate and due to the Russians. That lie went on his whole term.

Had Trump been reelected this time, how do you think your crowd would have behaved?

My people? You can't pin others' actions on me. I always acknowledged that Trump won the Electoral College and was legitimately the president. I defended that legitimacy right here on at least one occasion. I even continued to defend the EC system after he was elected.

I don't have a crowd.

Cindy Hamilton

Maybe not you personally but these are your peeps.

Pretty wide generalization there. Some of us actually thought Trump would be good, better than Hillary. Unfortunately, he did not turn out that way. Failed to meet expectations.

Oh, you wanted open borders, higher taxes, inflation etc.
