OT. Vehicle Buying

If you ignore Micky's red herrings - and just concentrate on the rear door window only - not the little duplicate door, but the real rear door window - why would it have a vertical seam and an angled seam ? .. identical to the duplicate door ! John T.

Meanwhile, back in the non-Google world, what about the shiny obelisk recently spotted in the Utah desert? The UFO crowd is going crazy over that.

It's a Chrysler Pacifica minivan with an "artifact" from the streetview camera. You can see the artifact in the shadow as well. Also the lower body feature line is mismatched. You can also see the "break" in the roof rail. It's a product of the camera "strobing"

Most people with half a mechanical brain will disagree with Scotty on a LOT of things. He's a Buffoon.

The "sellers kit" required in Ontario will answer most questions other than "why are you selling"

They are called "curbsiders" and often they never transfer ownership to their name. A large percentage of them are crooks who could never get a dealer's license.

He's mistaken when he says that they are clearly human rivets. Martian rivets ara almost identical to human rivets. We learned how to make rivets from Martians who landed in Western England** in 1517. Many English visited their ship and a couple with a metal shop studied the rivets and learned to duplicate them. **Although some say Stonehenge.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of.

I guess he didn't want to tell me who he was in case the car broke down and people held him responsible, came to his house, annoyed his wife. But that wasn't the exact reason he gave. I don't remember, I only remember saying, "Do you really think I'm going to...????"

But the guy at the tag and title place typed into the computer, looked at the screen, and said title had been transferred, said iirc it couldn't be reversed. And gave me plates, which since then I have renewed. So I'm not positive but I guess I own it.

I used to work with a couple of guys who were active in MUFON. Other than that, they seemed quite normal. Anyway, they scoffed at the idea of Martians, preferring to use the word 'alien' instead. The best trick was that they could communicate telepathically with their spouses, so whenever we got a new guy in the shop they'd put on a little show.

I've seen two UFOs in my life, but I can't say if they were Martian or just the more generic 'alien'.

The problem with the word Martian is that people immediately think "little green men" and that is so wrong.

In fact, they are blue.

We woudln't have this problem if they properly flagged their ships.

Also they should carry ID.

Or just a piece of flying garbage - any "unidentified" object blowing through the sky. Used to take a tea-lite and a "kitchen Catcher" garbage bag and some light wire and make my own - - -

I understand that the U in UFO covers a lot of ground but these weren't that easily explained. The first one, there were 4 of us and we noticed blinking red/green/blue lights hovering in the western sky. In less than a second, the lights moved to our north, then a few seconds later they moved much higher in the northern sky before they moved even higher and back toward the west before disappearing. The whole thing lasted about 30 seconds, plenty of time for us to discuss what we were seeing. None of the movement was like anything we had seen before.

The second event happened a few years after that. I was alone, driving at night on a rural road far from town and far from any farms or lights. It was fully dark, but suddenly there was a floodlight shining down on the car, illuminating the car, the road ahead, and the area to either side of the road, tracking me as I drove. It took me a bit to realize that the light was coming from above me but then I slowed to a stop and stepped out of the car. There was absolutely no sound, but the light above me was as bright as day. It's hard to judge, but it seemed to be about 100 feet above me. After about 15-20 seconds, the light turned off and I was left once again in darkness.

I'm guessing neither was flying garbage, but who knows.

There are ~1.3 bazillion smartphones in the world yet we don't have one decent picture/video of a UFO. WTF?

Now that, is something to talk about. Residents of Ogallala, NE see little men and rotating flashing lights every day. The water tower next to I-80 is made to look like the stereotypical UFO from the late 50s or maybe 60s.
