Turns out that the reason the cloth masks didn't do so well was just because some of them were hand washed daily. The ones washed in a washing machine were fine.
That still doesn't address "poor filtering and moisture retention".
In fact if you listen to the interview she covers that too.
3 level cloth masks filter fine.
Wrong again, that the reason for the moisture proof layer.
And they are much better than no mask at all, anyway.
You assume every rag mask you see is all of that.
I assume nothing and rag masks arent what is being discussed.
