Burning particle board waste for heating

Re burning particle board in wood heate/stove: --reading earlier forums, one or two posts approached the hazard issue constructively. We know that urea formaldahyde, phenolic binding resin is used in a substantial proportion of composite timber( one study stated 90% globally) and that by burning, thermal decomposition in oxygen available atmosphere, hcn, free (indicatively gaseous above 27 C) cyanide is formed. We also know that this will sequencially thermally degrade into CO2-carbon dioxide, H2O-water & NO-nitric oxide in the right conditions. What i cant seem to find out is that temperature and the relative necessity of "oxygen", such as in the secondary clean burn in a well designed wood heater? Can anyone assist? The obvious outcome is the safe recycling of chipboard waster as house heating fuel. We understand the broad caveat from the EPA, etc, and that burning safely and environmentally as heating fuel is not a haphazard affair, but for a mindset like mine, information that would guide me in this would be useful.


Why take the chance. The world is awash in real wood?
