I went to the bank and the teller line is closed, you have to use the drive through so instead of being able to do a social distanced transaction at the counter they want me to bring a virus infected document carrier into my car, handle it on my lap and add whatever viruses I might have. Then you send it back into the bank to infect the teller and then out to the next victim. I kept driving.
These people have lost their minds.

Not nearly as much as it sucks to be YOU ... have you ever done anything but troll newsgroups ? Has Mommy remodeled the basement to your needs ? Does she still keep a good supply of depends on hand so you can troll for extended time without a potty break ?

They should make the virus color itself a specific color, so we can tell where it is. Gene splicing. Chiller, thriller, whatever its called.
Occasionally you really need to go in and sit with an associate. I will wait. I was just amazed at what passed as the safe alternative.

Use the leftmost lane next to the window where you put it directly in the tray rather than the lanes further away where you have to use the tube container.
Pick your receipt out of the tray with your hand in a plastic bag and immediately turn it inside out. Then wipe your hands with sanitizer before touching the shift lever and steering wheel.
Late last year, I had picked up a big pack of vinyl food handling gloves to use around my garage, toilet cleaning, etc. - four boxes of 500 for $10-15 bucks at Sam's Club. I use them for any suspect items- the mail, grocery store packages, etc.

Maybe you could make your own cylinders, but that would ononly get the paperwork to them. Who knows what they woudl send back.
When I had surgery 11 years ago adn they're sending me home, they threw all kindsa of things in the bag, like so I iddn't have to leave the bed to pee. (I didn't use that.) and a box of 100 or 150 nitrile gloves. I think I paid for that whole box, that is, Medicare and UHC didd. I think all but 4 or 6 were still in it.
But they're hard to get on and off, so I'm using my winter knitted gloves for the virus.

I picked up a box of gloves when I had to do a little tar job on the roof. They sucked at that and tended to tear. They might be good for something now -- if I can find them.
Even on a GOOD day.
They don't want to be anywhere near you and your diseased lungs. This way all they need to do is wear gloves. You aren't going to come in without a mask and then hack and cough -- sending micro- droplets all over the room which will hang in the air for thirty minutes.
Around here you just use the atm. No vac tubes. Just like using a credit card. ANd our money is washable (polymer) so you can just squirt it with alcohol and it's sanitized. And we can deposit cheques with our cell phones. When the kids give us money to pay off their debts they e-transfer it right to our account by emailing it to us.

Pretty much what I thought too. It eliminates the air transfer, which they once believed was the dominant form of transmission. Now they seem to be thinking it could transfer more from surfaces, but air droplets are still a major component. I don't see the big issue. If you were to enter the bank, almost all of them you have to pull a couple of door handles, so you're exposed there. What's the big difference to handling a canister? In your car, you have disinfectant wipes that you would use after leaving the bank if you walked in, right? So, just use them after handling the canister. No, I guess it's better to join one of the liberation protests over this unreasonable, unconstitutional intrusion on personal liberty.
