Hi All,
My 35 year old American Made garden hose has finally given it up.
Anyone know of a good replacement? One that will last a good 20 years? And that you can drink from. (It is for watering an organic garden.)
Many thanks,
-T

I haven't tried this one yet ; and for-some-reason there are no reviews either .. ? John T.
So far my best hose has been a rubber hose from Sears. It's heavy, but resists kinking.
Black one? Probably the same as I have. A 100' on sale was a good deal. I have it on a good reel too.
Not cheap, but works well
$612.38 !!!!!
Interesting!
I have, used to use one from discount house, almost 30year old. I bought another because it was cracking. My RV drinking hose is a lot cheaply built. Second hose kinks more, not as solid. Bought it discounted end of season. I thought my first had a lifetime warranty.

I am looking at this one:
My 1972 Sears green (rubber, I think) are still going strong. Too bad Sears isn't!
Seems like you can have flow restrictions on a 7/16" hose of that length. Depends how critical that is for you.
Hurry, there's only 1 remaining.
ya, that is a concert. It is to spot water my garden pots, so flow rate is not a YUGE issue. The have a 5/8" model, but it is $$$
Look for the brand Flexzilla. I have bought several of them. Best hose I ever owned. They stay soft in freezing weather, supposedly safe for drinking water. Mostly kink free, but any hose will kink under the right conditions. They are also lightweight, which matters to me when I have to move them around. I love em'.
They are more expensive than most hoses, but worth it.
They are sold at places like Menards. Ebay has em too. They come in 25ft up to 100ft. (and I may have seen a 10' one on ebay as well).
No mention of potable safety here ...
Thank you!
