Dryer Vent Insulating

Can I put insulation around the dryer vent exhaust pipe going into the wall?

I came here looking for an answer. So far ive learnt only that the type of material used for insulating around the hole should be not inflammable. For example if you are thinking of Using foam you should think twice and make sure that the foam you're using it isnt inflammable
