What kind of potting soil mix should be used for repotting a Desert Rose? I plan to use a slightly larger clay pot with extra holes drilled in the bottom and sides. TIA

I wouls suggest cactus potting soil, which is high in sand, amended with peat moss and organics. Regular potting soil will be very bad for your desert rose as it will not drain well enough. Look here:
